Just an update for thouse of you that are wondering about the next page update:

Sorry for the delay!!! Things have been really busy for me lately, and I haven't been able to get to it just yet. My plan is to have a new page by next week, if not sooner!

Several things have been taking up my time, but one of them is CB related; I'm continuing work on updating the first 75 pages of the comic in preparation for the upcoming Caribbean Blue Vol 1 release. You can check out the changes as they happen (right now I'm at page 47). Some changes are minor, some end up being almost redone completely.

-But why does it take so long?

Well, it usually starts by me seeing the mess I used to make when it came to layers and organization within Photoshop; then I look at the original lineart layer and sigh as I see how poor quality the original scan was. I've learned so many techniques since I started (granted, its been a very long time) so I can't help but make a few alterations. Sometimes one minor change leads to another.... and before I realize it I'm repainting the whole page.

Then there are other changes that you can't really see; stuff I do in Photoshop to keep the layers in order and to minimize the amount of overall layers. As time goes by, we learn to be more efficient, and that gives us more time to improve the quality of the comic itself.


Well, I hope this sorta covers what I've been up to, even if its not a good excuse for the comic delay T_T
